Bennington Lake
There are more than 20 miles of recreation trails around Bennington Lake. The trail surfaces range from compact dirt to gravel, to pavement. The trails meander through open grasslands and wooded areas with stunning views of the surrounding valley and Blue Mountains.
The Kingfisher Trail is the paved path on the south shore of Mill Creek. The Trail extends from Tausick Way to Rooks Park. The Whitetail Trail is a longer trail that travels in a large loop around Bennington Lake. The lake is situated in agrarian farm land, and the trail will wind around the water past various types of crops. Though the landscape immediately surrounding the trail is flat, there are expansive views of the Blue Mountains to the east.
You can cut off a few miles by taking the Meadowlark Trail.
