Overview
Blues Crew is very excited to partner with the Blue Mountain Audubon Society for a spring tune-up of the Rempel Natural Area trails at Fort Walla Walla. A small team will be loading wheelbarrows with bark chips, transporting and spreading them onto trails. Light pruning and cleanup of the trail system may be done. Volunteers should be able to walk on uneven ground, use a shovel and rake, and lift and push a loaded wheelbarrow several hundred yards, making multiple trips.

COVID precautions require that volunteers self-certify on the day of the event that they are well, provide and wear a cloth mask during the group safety briefing, provide their own transportation to and from the work site, and follow other health and safety practices as outlined during the pre-event safety briefing.
