BMLT hosts 2026 Horseshoe Prairie Winter Party and welcomes trail ambassadors
Winter looks a bit different this year, but Horseshoe Prairie is open for the season thanks to our incredible BMLT Blues Crew volunteers. Conditions are dynamic, but we’re still showing up outside.
BMLT Blues Crew volunteers are grooming the ski trails as long as the snow allows. Their time and care make a major difference out there, and we’re grateful for every early morning and cold-weather lap. Stay up to date on the latest grooming conditions here.
We’re also excited to welcome our Horseshoe Prairie Trail Ambassadors. You’ll see them on the trails on weekends, ready to answer questions and help visitors find their way. Look for the armbands, and be sure to share a ‘thank you’ to these volunteers for being out there.

Mark your calendar for the Horseshoe Prairie Winter Party on February 21st. Join us for food, hot beverages, community connection, and guided snowshoe outings along the trails, weather and snow conditions permitting.
