Nature Kids is back! Together with the Umatilla National Forest, we welcome you to attend Nature Kids, a FREE series devoted to inspiring children to investigate the natural world around them.
Join us at Community Park on the Rotary Disc Golf Course side in Pendleton, OR on Saturday, May 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to learn about how animals move through the air, land, and water. Free for children ages 5-11 and their families. Activities include hands-on exploration of natural resources, conservation-related activities, presentations by science educators, and fun crafts to keep kids engaged.
What you will learn:
🌲 What it takes for salmon to complete a life cycle
🌲 Where Monarch butterflies travel and why
🌲 Why birds fly south for the winter
