Nature Kids is back! Together with the Umatilla National Forest, we welcome you to attend Nature Kids, a FREE series devoted to inspiring children to investigate the natural world around them.
Join us at Pietrzycki City Park in Dayton, WA from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to learn about insects and their role in the world around us. FREE for children ages 5-11 and their families. Activities include hands-on exploration of natural resources, conservation-related games, presentations by science educators, and fun crafts to keep kids engaged.
What you will learn:
🌲 Different kinds of pollinators
🌲 Foods that rely on insects
🌲 How to support healthy insect populations with gardens
