Farm Kids Day Camp: Week 1

  • Welcome Table Farm (map)

Blue Mountain Land Trust and Welcome Table Farm team up each summer to offer camp sessions to learn about life on a small organic farm. Farm Kids encourages children to discover local food systems through hands-on activities and games.

Camp in Session:

Join us Monday, July 10 - Friday, July 14th for a fun week on the farm. Let’s catch and identify beneficial pollinators that help our foods and flowers grow. Discover critter's wild (and not-so-wild) life cycle on the organic farm and surrounding habitat of Yellowhawk Creek. Meet the beloved four-legged friends, pigs, and goats of Welcome Table Farm. Learn how local farms feed our community. Get a sneak peek at CSA box prep, discover insects in the field, and make delicious snacks with fresh ingredients. Guest instructors join us each week, and so much more!

Sign up for one week or three. Each session is a little different and just as much fun! Limited to 15 participants per week. Open to children entering 1st to 4th grade. Camp runs: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
