Nature Journaling

  • Rooks Park Picnic Shelter Rooks Park Road Walla Walla, WA, 99362 United States (map)

Join us for an evening of observing and writing about nature. Karen Kirkwood will lead several journaling activities that will deepen participants’ involvement with the world around them. When we quiet ourselves and observe the details of place, we are able to grow intimate with nature and make discoveries about the place and ourselves. We will have time to share our thoughts with others if we so choose.

Karen has taught writing to all ages and currently is an instructor at Walla Walla Community College. She is an avid gardener and hiker.
