Bountiful: something provided in abundance, or given generously. We are fortunate to have a bounty of talented and committed local farmers here in the Walla Walla Valley, such as Frog Hollow Farm and Hayshaker Farm. We are excited to celebrate bountiful harvests with two of the best local farms at the height of the summer growing season.
The day begins by touring both farm’s fields, sharing conversation regarding farming practices and philosophies, the terroir of each farm, and the unique and special character of each.
Following the farm tours, a smaller group will adjourn to the home of Chris Lueck and Laurie Mitchel for a spectacular Sunday Brunch, utilizing the delectable produce from the farms visited. Chris is a classically trained CIA chef, meaning he will present a delicious treat for both the eye and the palate. It will be a feast to remember as we savor this brunch offering.
Both of our farm hosts exemplify “bountiful,” with their generosity of spirit and skill over the years.
