Join us for a winter snowshoe exploration at Andies Prairie. Together, we’ll learn the basics of how to wear snowshoes while strolling through a winter wonderland. This class is designed for beginners who are curious about one of winter’s most popular outdoor activities. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn how to venture across easy snow trails, how to go up and down hills, traverse slopes, use your poles, and how to get up after falling in deep snow.
This class is best suited for those aged 14 and older. Previous experience with snowshoeing is not needed. Transportation to Andies Prairie provided.
Rental packages prepared by the Whitman Outdoor Program are available for an additional fee.
Registration closes on Monday, March 2, 2020.
