Oregon Butte - Guided Hike with Bob Carson - CANCELLED

Due to active wildfires in Umatilla National Forest and other public lands, we're canceling our upcoming Oregon Butte Hike with Bob Carson. If you've already registered, our education staff will be in touch with you soon.

We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we navigate the changing landscape this summer. Please recreate responsibly this fire season.

Let's get high! Hike to Oregon Butte, the top of the Blues with naturalist and Whitman College Professor Emeritus Bob Carson.

Along the way, we will learn about the natural history of an unglaciated mountain range with subalpine vegetation and a most unusual 15-million-year-old lava flow. Our six-mile round-trip hike takes us to a historic fire lookout surrounded by the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness.
