Road cleanup on Mill Creek Road

  • Mill Creek Sports Complex 111 Tausick Way Walla Walla, WA, 99362 United States (map)

Overview

Blues Crew will provide socially-distanced trash pickup to help beautify Walla Walla County rural roads. Volunteers will drive their personal vehicle to a designated location, walk along the route picking up trash and litter, and work back to their cars. Individual segments vary in length, but out & back will be roughly 1 – 1.5 miles. Volunteers must be able to repeatedly bend over and pick up items and carry approximately 10 pounds in a trash bag, filling 3-4 bags. Time frame 1 ½ - 2 hours. Volunteers will be sent a complete set of instructions to be read before arriving to the event. A map of the route and assignment descriptions will be provided at the Safety Briefing.

Notes
