Overview
Blues Crew will provide socially-distanced trash pickup to help beautify Walla Walla County rural roads. Volunteers will drive their personal vehicle to a designated location, walk along the route picking up trash and litter, and work back to their cars. Individual segments vary in length, but out and back will be roughly 1 – 1.5 miles. Volunteers must be able to repeatedly bend over and pick up items and carry approximately 10 pounds in a trash bag, filling 3-4 bags. Timeframe 1 ½ - 2 hours. Volunteers will be sent a map of the area to be covered and a complete set of instructions to be read before arriving to the event.
Notes
Pets are not to accompany volunteers on a Blues Crew work party due to work safety concerns. Volunteers must be 18 years of age.
