SAVE THE DATE: National Public Lands Day on the NF Umatilla Trail

Celebrate National Public Lands Day and join BMLT Blues Crew for a trail work party on the NF Umatilla River Trail.

At the time of this announcement, the Hagen fire is vast and growing and has entered the North Fork Umatilla Wilderness. The trail work we aim to accomplish will likely be affected by the course of the wildfire in coming days and weeks. Nonetheless, we hope to contribute to efforts to maintain and / or restore hiking trails in our region.

National Public Lands Day is an annual celebration that serves as a reminder to honor the public outdoor spaces that bring us together. This year, celebrate with BMLT Blues Crew with a day of trail-care and community organizing.

We’ll provide the tools and guidance you need—just bring your gloves, sturdy shoes, lunch, and a readiness to pitch in. We'll have fun, work hard and make a difference. No experience is necessary!

Check out more information about the trail here.
