UPDATE: The weather forecast predicts rain for Saturday. If it’s sprinkling, we will be there. If it starts to pour rain, we will pack up and burrow down in our nests like the birds. 😊
Nature Kids is back! Together with the Umatilla National Forest and Blue Mountain Audobon Society, we welcome you to attend Nature Kids, a FREE series devoted to inspiring children to investigate the natural world around them.
Activities include hands-on exploration of natural resources, conservation-related activities, presentations by science educators, and fun crafts to keep kids engaged.
Drop-in at Fort Walla Walla Natural Area on Saturday, June 11th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to learn about bird watching. Birding is a great skill and a fun hobby, especially for families. Free for children ages 5-11 and their families.
