Nature Kids: Earth Day

Celebrate our beautiful planet by practicing Leave No Trace principles, crafting from recyclables, and planting your own pollinator friendly garden

The Blue Mountain Land Trust and Umatilla National Forest welcome you to Nature Kids, a series devoted to inspiring children to explore and investigate the natural world around them. Activities include hands-on exploration of natural resources, conservation-related activities, presentations by science educators, and fun crafts to keep kids engaged.

Nature Kids events are free and open to the public. These events are casual, drop-in and enjoy events, pre-registration is not required.

Activities are best suited for children ages 3 - 12 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone at these events (except Nature Kids on the Farm). Contact Lauren Platman with any questions at or 509-525-3136.
