Join the Walla Walla County Conservation District, Tri-State Steelheaders, and the Blue Mountain Land Trust for a mulching work party on May 17th!
Get ready for an outdoor adventure that combines stewardship, education, and the joy of giving back! We’re seeking motivated individuals with a love for the outdoors to volunteer for our upcoming collaborative work party with Walla Walla County Conservation District and Tri-State Steelheaders.
On Sunday, May 17th from 10 am to 12 pm, join us for a mulching work party! Volunteers will learn about ongoing restoration efforts that enhance salmon habitat, improve floodplains, and improve water quality. They will also help apply mulch at an active restoration site while learning about native plants.
Volunteers will meet at the WWCCD Office at 9:30 am, and we will carpool to the site. WWCCD Office Address: 325 N. 13th Ave, Walla Walla, WA.
