Join BMLT Blues Crew for a trail work party on the Lower Lick Creek Trail #3070!
Get ready for an outdoor adventure that combines nature, trail stewardship, and the joy of giving back! We’re seeking motivated individuals with a love for the outdoors to volunteer for our upcoming trail work party on the Lower Lick Creek Trail.
The BMLT Blues Crew annually partners with the Umatilla National Forest to open up and maintain one of our favorite trails – Lick Creek Trail #3070. It runs from Corporation Trailhead down in the Umatilla Canyon up to ZigZag Springs at the top. This trail climbs 2050 feet in 4 miles passing through stands of timber and open areas hosting native grasses. From this trail, one can access Grouse Mountain. We are sure to have some trees down on the trail, so sawyers and volunteers are definitely needed.
Be a part of this exciting volunteer opportunity! We’ll have fun, work hard and make a difference. No experience is necessary.
Check out more information about the trail here.
