Join the BMLT Blues Crew for a trail work party at Horseshoe Prairie (HSP) Nordic Ski Area to restore fire-impacted trails and prepare for the winter season.
The BMLT Blues Crew has supported the trails at HSP since 2019. This summer the Hagan Fire impacted a portion of the trail system. The goal of the work party is to begin the trail recovery effort and prep the area for the winter snow season.
Volunteers will focus on the repair of trails impacted by the Hagen Fire. Work will also include removal of downed trees by the Sawyer team, brush and debris removal, placement/replacement of ski and snowshoe trail markers, and the placement of seasonal orange pole trail markers.
Be a part of this exciting volunteer opportunity. We will have fun, work hard and make a difference. No experience is necessary.
Check out more information about the trail here.
