Trip Overview
Join BMLT Blues Crew for a trail work party on the Corporation-Buck Creek Tie Trail #3076.
The Corporation-Buck Creek Tie Trail is located in the Umatilla National Forest adjacent to the Forks Campground. We will work on the south-eastern segment of the trail that connects the North Fork Umatilla Trailhead with the Buck Creek and Ninemile Trailheads. This trail has not been maintained for a number of years and needs considerable rehabilitation. It will likely take a number of work parties this summer to open it up. Our team will work to keep this trail clear and accessible for all ages.
Be a part of this exciting volunteer opportunity! We'll have fun, work hard and make a difference. No experience is necessary.
Volunteer work to accomplish:
Tread work
Erosion Prevention
Brush removal
Cutting and removal of downed timber
General cleanup
What it takes to do this work party
