Join Mike Denny on the second part of a two-part tour into the Blue Mountains to witness spring awaken at 5,000 feet. On this excursion we will journey to Godman Campground to enjoy the splendors of spring mid-summer. The flowers and insects you viewed in May will just be emerging at this higher altitude climate.
Mike will help you investigate what spring brings: flowers, birds, insects and all the wonders of nature as life wakes up with spring. It will be a day full of factual wonders, that’s for sure.

Suitability: Children welcome, great for the family.
Difficulty: Involves walking and standing for periods of time.
Things to Bring
Participants should wear sturdy shoes or boots for walking and standing, as well as attire suitable for a day hike. This will be a rain or shine event, so depending on the weather, a jacket, hat with a brim, sunglasses and sunscreen would be beneficial. Bring a refillable water bottle, sack lunch, a camera, nature journal, and a sense of adventure.
