We’re so lucky to live in the shadow of the Blue Mountains - a unique region that’s a hidden treasure to many people in the Pacific Northwest. Whether it’s viewing wildlife, hiking or biking miles of trail, fly fishing, or taking in the scenery, our trail network has a lot to offer and connects people to the landscape.

The Blue Mountain Land Trust is dedicated to promoting and enhancing our community’s access to outdoor recreation opportunities. We partner with local, state, and federal agencies, organizations, and individuals to help maintain existing trails,  develop new trails, and highlight recreation in the Blue Mountain country.

Outside Walla Walla was created for the adventurous; those who seek to explore the valleys and mountains just outside Walla Walla. This website will help you build your own adventure to the many scenic, historic, protected, magical places surrounding the Walla Walla Valley.

The Blues Crew is a newly formed program that improves the quality and accessibility of local trails by working directly with regional agencies such as the USFS Umatilla National Forest. Blues Crew is a volunteer lead effort.
